How To Apply for Re-Counting or Re-valuation in JNTU – Detailed Information: The JNTU Hyderabad University has given an option to the students that students can apply for the re-correction of their selected papers, either they can choose re-counting of marks or revaluation of the subject by paying a fee. In some cases after checking the results the students gets confused about the marks they score or the results they see as ‘Fail’, even though after giving their best, how they haven’t qualified for that paper, this question arises with the answer named revaluation or recorrection and recounting, based on the confusion or doubt of the students, he can further take the decision, let’s check out more details s follows.

How To Apply for Re-Counting:

Recounting: The answer book will not be corrected again but the calculation of the marks will be done again and if there is any change then it will be updated. The paper script of the students is searched and the counting of the marks is done once again as the students need satisfaction that the counting is done properly, but if in case there was an error during the counting, then the University through the invigilator will update the marks for that student in the RC/RV results which will be released soon.

  • Fee for recounting is Rs.100 (Rupees One Hundred) per subject. (Confirm the updated fee with your exam branch)
  • To be applied after the Recounting notification issued by the JNTUH and before the last date specified
  • The fee to be paid to the Exam Branch of the respective colleges with the application of Rs.5 with a xerox copy of your result.
  • The student will be registered online for Recounting.
  • No recounting for the lab marks.

How To Apply for Re-Valuation:

Revaluation: The answer book will be corrected again and if there is any change then it will be updated. They will look for the student’s answer script and evaluate the same again and if in case there are errors in the correction and are marks are being increased/decreased, that the same will be updated in the coming results called as RC/RV results for all years including all semester 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2 or 3-1, 3-2, 4-1, 4-2 etc. The answer book will not be corrected in front of the student, if a student wants the answer book corrected in in front of him/her or paper copy is sent to the students address, then the student should apply for Challenge Valuation.

  • Fee for revaluation is Rs.1000 (Rupees One Thousand) per subject. (Confirm the updated fee with your exam branch)
  • To be applied after the Recounting notification issued by the JNTUH and before the last date specified.
  • The fee to be paid to the Exam Branch of the respective colleges with the application of Rs.5 with a xerox copy of your result.
  • The student will be registered online for Revaluation
  • No revaluation for the lab marks.
