How To Apply For Grace Marks In JNTU – Complete Information: Presently JNTUH allowed students to apply for grace marks that is 0.15% extra marks will be added if the student has failed in a subject with the 1,2 or 3 marks. The JNTUH Will add these marks and pass the student in the applied subject. The JNTUH will change the class of the student if student lacks of 0.15% for better class. The student can only apply for the grace marks & 0.15% rule after the students received the memo.

JNTUH Classes:
Distinction: scored above 70%
First Class:  scored between 60% to 70%
Second Class: scored between 50% to 60%
Third Class: scored below 50%

Apply for JNTUH Class Change:

If  a student scored 49.85%, than the student will be considered in ‘Third class’ but if the student apply for ‘grace marks’ than JNTUH will add extra 0.15%, so the student now scored 50%.
The class of the student has been changed now from ‘Third Class’ to ‘Second Class’.

If  a student scored 59.85%, than the student will be considered in ‘Second class’ but if the student apply for ‘grace marks’ than JNTUH will add extra 0.15%, so the student now scored 60%.
The class of the student has been changed now from ‘Second class’ to ‘First Class’

If  a student scored 69.85%, than the student will be considered in ‘First class’ but if the student apply for ‘grace marks’ than JNTUH will add extra 0.15%, so the student now scored 70%.
The class of the student has been changed now from ‘First class’ to ‘Distinction’.

How To Apply for JNTUH Class Change For 0.15% Grace Marks

Student should write a request letter through the Principal, in case if completed the course than the student can direct contact Controller of Examination. Original Marks memo , original provision certificate, Final semester marks memo. You will soon get a notification and grace marks will be added.

JNTUH Grace Marks for Subject:

If a student has failed with the lacking of 1,2,3 …or 8 marks than the JNTUH will add the marks and pass the student after the application sent to JNTUH. Example if a students score 22 marks in a subject than the student can apply for Grace marks and qualify the subject (this is applicable for 2 subjects i.e, 4+4 marks), if in case a student scores 18 marks than he or she may apply for 8 grace marks to qualify that subject. If a student scores marks between 22-26 in two different subjects than the student can apply for grace marks in two subjects. More information can be known by your Exam branch or Principal.

How To Apply for JNTUH Grace Marks To Qualify a Subject:

Student should write a request letter through the Principal.
Original marks memo containing the subject in which student wanted to apply for Grace marks. The student should score the minimum credits to apply that is 192,193,194 credits out of 200 (for R09), for R07 there are different credits.
